One of the many benefits of residing at THE FORT is the close proximity to many fun summer activities.   If you are a fan of long summer strolls, fine eclectic cuisine, outdoor concerts then Old Town Winchester has you covered all summer long.

This week we turn back the clock to 1845 and check out this print of 411 N. Loudoun St, Winchester VA.   At this time THE FORT was referred to as the Winchester Female Seminary.   This Seminary was established by Joseph Baker, a Baptist minister in 1830. Below you can see children playing and a couple out for a lovely stroll in front of THE FORT.
